2021 National Finals
In typical Wimbledon style, there were a few rain showers during the event, which thankfully didn’t dampen the excitement.
Both our finalists won through the qualifying rounds and into the main draw.
Jack came through his first round, beating Toby from H&W and into the QF, where his advernture stopped with a 3-6, 4-6 loss. Jack and partner lost in the first round in the doubles on a match tie-breaker.
Florence raced through her group stages with 3 wins from 3 and kept her form with first round main draw win. Sadly, Florence lost in the second round after a spirited battle. Into the doubles and Florence and Lincolnshire partner had a bye in the first round and lost in the 2nd.
Both had some excellent singles and doubles matches and learnt a lot from their experience.
In addition to the finalists, our County runners up, Jacka and Ellie were invited to SW19 for a coaching clinic with legend Tim Henman.
